Searching for Tombs Build
I was wondering if anyone could give me a reliable stance/tank build I could use to do tombs runs with my guildies. None of them have any reliable advice, they just say bring stances. But that didnt work because of the energy reduction caused by each hit on the graspers.
I would appreciate any help you guys in the community could give me.
Thanks.

I generally used Glad's Defense, Disciplined Stance (even better now as 5e), Bonetti's, and Cyclone Axe. Energy offhands helps if you've been tapped dry.
Set your 2ndary to a mesmer or a Factions/NF profession.

You'd probably be better looking in the Farming forum. I think there's one build with a E/Me tank and a SS necro. I'd just pick up a bow and go with that. If you want a stance, how about frenzy?

Yeah, even I know frenzy would be a no-no. I don't even use that skill for anything at all. E/ME tank?! Necro! Yes.. I know about these.. everyone in my Guild has one or the other. I'm just strictly looking for advice about a W/Mo build that might work.
Yes Blindness is a problem, purge signet is nice but can't keep up with the frequency that blindness is thrown up. So I'm at a loss lol.
Thanks for the comments so far!

W/Mo you would spend all the time under conditions and have any enchantments on you stripped. If you would like to get some sort of feel of damage I would say maybe try an Illusionary Weaponry warrior. Shame it will get stripped alot. Maybe think of a cover enchantment. You could also just bite the bullet and as an all stance tank. Warrior really is a boring profession to play though in the tombs.

Not going to go into a long, drawn-out discussion, but I wouldn't recommend IW on a warrior primary. You do more damage with pumped weapon attribute and attack skills than with pumped Illusion and IW.

I doubt that. Every time I've done tombs as a warrior your blind 90% of the time. The only option is to be a true tank here. IW works since you don't have to hit. The problem is enchantment strips.

If you want to do damage as a stance tank, and the vast majority of your points are in tactics then I suggest glads defence and maybe riposte and/or deadly riposte, these work regardless of blindness. other than that energy based stances are more reliable in tombs than bonnettis as blindness tends to mean that your adrenaline isnt gonna fill up too often. with the new runes of attunement and glads armour + your natural regen energy shouldnt be too much of a problem. Dolyaks signet would be a staple too provided you can hold the aggro well enough. put your attributes into tactics and strength, let your team do the damage. If they want you to roll specifically as a "stance tank" I would imagine that this is what they would want. Oh and one other thing, if you are stance tanking then dont take vampiric or zealous weapons, its pointless you WILL be blind for the majority of the time and so you will just be getting the negative effects without the positives
